HARDCORE NEWS 3 "in yo face"

Turn your speakers up, Hardcore News is back to bring about some fine new releases, sure to please regular visitors of this blog. Most of these are fairly new bands, fortifying the scene all around!

From Milan/Bologna comes WE'RE RIGHT! 80's pissed youth crew done right. Excellent 7-songs demo entitled 'Alert!' out now by Don't Need Records on casette.

Richmond's BREAK AWAY, plays also 80's youth crew revelation style and has a fresh debut EP 'For Life' on MindRot Records. For now Dowload their demo and hear a sample from 'For Life'.

Also from River City, TOUGH LUCK will be releasing a new EP 'The Fifth Column' on Last Anthem Records. These youngsters will certainly do some ruckus. Take a listen to their title track and tell me otherwise!

Features vocal guests from David Wood (Down To Nothing).

This one made me throw my arms windmill style, so be aware for RUDE AWAKENING, MA
ssachusetts on full effect babe! Demo on Arrest Records. Features players from Death Before Dishonor, Hammer Bros.

BLINDSIDE brings a new breath in the Belgium hc scene, as well keeps the blood pumping at Powered Records hq.

My friend Arty (Strainght On View) made a player with one the songs from their upcoming debut EP.

BLINDSIDE - Blindside by straightonviewblog

In the swedish front 2 excellent records are out, going under many radars out there. Check both their bandcamps for FREE downloads!

OUT OF VOGUE delivers a sound that is being compared to CIV!! Hear it and take your own conclusions. Although the band is new the members have some baggage, playing in bands such as EYES SHUT and Subject To Change, now they are back with a 4 songs EP Out now on Salad Days.

After a very well received split with BALANCE, HÅRDA TIDER put out (in 2010 actually) a full-length all sang in swedish. 10 songs of abrasive-thrashy-hardcore. Be sure to check tracks 4 and 8, superb!!

BOTTLED UP RECORDS

Location: Pennsylvania

With few but good records under the belt, Jeff Lasich has been running this label for a while now. The label responsible for putting out the Have Heart Demo 2003 7".

So far I only uploaded One Up from the Bottled Up roster, now you have the chance to own all their back catalog, at least virtually.
Jeff himself uploaded those to help spread the word. Among them, one stands outs, In Stride for being such underrated, sick shit if you are into Guns Up! and sorts, features members of Keep It Clear. Enjoy:

ENOUGH - Something We Can Build

Location: Nashville, US
Release: Iron Mind Crew, 2011

It's been a while since a youth crew band got my attention such as ENOUGH did with their new EP, maybe since 2009's Keep It Clear EP or Pressure's Demo.

Enough's Demo and 1st EP 'When You Dont Think You Can' were quite ok, but 'Something We Can Build' reminds me of early The First Step and Our Turn, got hooked right away.

A sold out 2-song promo was made on tape by Like Glue Records. The new 7" can be pre-ordered at Iron Mind webstore, those will run out fast fo sho!! Be quick or cry later!

DOWNLOAD PROMO

---------------UPDATE!---------------

Since the demise of Iron Mind Crew/Like Glue Records, german Assault Records repressed the 7" and is already in the second european press (availbale in 92/yellow and 73/black vinyl).

CLOSE CALL - Someone Talked CD

Location: Boston, USA
Release: Stab & Kill / Gloom Records, 2002

Speaking of Gloom Records, CLOSE CALL came to mind. That song 'All Too Safe' featured on the 'Someone Talked' EP is an anthemic hard-as-nail track!!

This CD version released by Stab & Kill Records (later known as Perfect Victim) compiles the following tracks:

1-7 from Someone Talked 7"
8-10 previously unreleased
11 from Destroy All Monster Comp.
12 from All Systems Go! Comp.
