The blog has made 2 years of existence and 200 posts so far but things are a bit slow actually, not much time left after i began to study again at night (2nd major in accounting)..

Nervertheless heres some cool shit to check out! GOOD FELLAZ are back with a 4-song demo of their upcoming full-lentgh (to be released in 2012?), as fun and delightful as usual. WORD!

POWER TRIP - Lockin' Out 7''

Location: Dallas
Release: Lockin' Out, 2012 (pre-order)

Lockin' Out Records is very often mentioned here and it's always a pleasure to hear some news from them. As for this time they announced a new 7 inch.

Power Trip takes a step further on the metal realm, similar to what Violation and Iron Age did. I really enjoyed this, but it would be much better if it was a LP! Extra props to the Prong cover!!

Link provided by the band, please visit POWER TRIP's website for some nifty info/updates!

TURN THE SCREW - S/T

Location: St. Niklaas, België
Release: Not Just Words, 2005 (out of print)

In the mid-2000's Belgium was at their peak when it comes to old school hardcore, with bands like Justice, True Colors and Rise and Fall touring up and down, it quickly became a reference worldwide.

Turn The Screw was part of that bloom, 4 teenagers bringin' it down lockin' out style. They started in 2003, released a demo in 2004, the self titled EP in 2005 and broke up in 2006.

For fans of Mental, Stop & Think and DYS.
