NEWGATE POTENTIAL - Polonaise of Death

Location: Bruges, België
Release: High Five Records, 2006
Artwork: The Tok

UPDATE 2020!! - NEWGATE POTENTIAL belongs to a selective group of bands from Belgium's Old School Revival glory days that spanned roughly over a decade.

They started in 2004 and quit in 2007 with a demo and one full-length out. The demo is quite generic but it worked as the foundation for the sound they were looking for in "Polonaise Of Death", a type of hardcore specific of that time & place, very reminiscent of their more well-known local peers like JUSTICE. Topics covered in the songs range from seizing life, DIY attitudes and the ever growing far-right political parties.
