SNAKE EYES - S/T 7" + Demo

Some already know that 1917 Records rose from the dead with a new co-release in hand: Guns Up! discography 2xLP.

The label put a few old stuff for sale as well uploaded part of their catalogue on bandcamp in high quality, lots of rad bands from the mid 00's, one of them is SNAKE EYES, a short-lived project done by riff maniacs Todd Jones and Corey Willians. The other dudes in it would be Bo Thompson (ex-Donnybrook) handling the mic, Nick Trujillo (Absolute Madness) on bass and a few dudes takin' over the drums, for instance, Bill Lanz (Internal Affairs).

Snake Eyes were all about hard-hitting well produced hardcore as you would expect from the kind of bands they were playing at the time. They did 2 albums: the 2005's Demo released on CD and the 2007's Self Titled 7", both on 1917 recs.

21/12/12 is coming so put on those cheap sunglasses and stare at the horizon while listening to this as the world collapse, something like they did on Terminator 2 but insted of Guns N' Shit you get ABSOLUTE MADNESS!

Corey Willians - guitar (Internal Affiars / Carry On) , Alex Vaz - vocals, Nick Trujillo - bass (Snake Eyes), John Haines - drums, Mark Williams - guitar. 

These dudes got together in 2009 and put out a Demo tape, then last year they took a brake but first they recorded an EP that never got officially released. It was available for download in their facebook but mediafire deleted it (damn you), last month Nick Jett, who also was the producer of this thang, emailed it for me.

This EP is comprised of 7 thrashy songs inspired by the likes of Cryptic Slaughter, Accüsed and Violator!!

A few posts before we close this year and I head for some vacation time. Absolute Mandess is a project compromised of ex-members from Piece By Piece, Holier Than Thou?, Donnybrook!, Broken Needle and so on.. and this time Corey who used to sing on Internal Affairs take the guitar duties.

A demo has been released and now they made available a 3 songs promo on their myspace of whats going to be their debut EP, hope they go through with it coz' this thang is TIGHT!
